Recently, there have been discussions going on the Internet about where JP from Love Is Blind was on January 6, 2021. Many wonder if he was a part of the Capitol insurrection movement done by the supporters of Donald Trump. Well, here's your answer.
We were taken on a wild ride by the first few episodes of Netflix's Love Is Blind Season 5, and guess what, the recently released 3 episodes were even wilder. A lot of things happened and we were shown the different stories of the couples after they were sent on a honeymoon in Mexico. However, the way Jared “JP” Pierce and Taylor Rue ended their relationship shocked many viewers.
During their honeymoon, JP eventually reveals that his behavior toward her changed because of how she seemed during their reveal, particularly how much makeup she was wearing, which led him to believe she was "fake." The following morning, Taylor decides to quit their engagement.
Of course, many viewers have been criticizing JP for labeling Taylor fake for wearing makeup. On the other hand, there's a rumor circulating on the Internet that JP was a part of the January 6 insurrection movement that happened in 2021. Well, let's find out what it is all about.
Love Is Blind: Was JP Really a Part of the Capitol Insurrection Movement on January 6, 2021?
We've discovered that many people have been wanting to know where JP (@instalessjared) from Love Is Blind was on January 6, 2021. Many people wonder if he was part of the Capitol insurrection movement held by the supporters of then-President Donald Trump.
Well, he wasn't. It all started after another contestant, Reene Poche, recently posted a picture of herself and Taylor from the show with the caption, "Us wondering where our men were Jan 6." Trust us when we say Reene actually insulted both of their partners from the show. Well, here's an explanation.
JP wasn't a part of the Capitol insurrection movement on January 6, 2021.

Both Renne's and Taylor's relationships didn't go well in Love Is Blind with Carter and JP respectively. And from their time in the show, it was pretty visible that Carter and JP supported each other heavily. And if you've checked out JP's Instagram, you know that he is a very patriotic guy.
Thus, Renne indirectly mocked both JP and Carter referring them to as supporters of Donald Trump who swarmed the US Capitol on January 6, 2021. Apart from that, we don't think she meant anything else.

Taylor gave her engagement ring back to JP the next day he confronted her that she was fake for wearing makeup and eyelashes. The two left Mexico, their honeymoon destination, separately.
However, Taylor recently talked about her decision to end their relationship. In an exclusive interview with The Messenger, she explained,
It was probably day two or three in Mexico. We had multiple conversations, and nothing was happening. There was no fix, so that was frustrating for me. My heart was telling me to leave, my head was telling me to stay.
Rue claimed that on her honeymoon, she had been "back and forth" regarding her choice. She ultimately made the decision to go as she thought the two should be allowed to live without doubts. She added,
I had one foot out the door. I was like, 'This is not fair to him. It's not fair to me.' I want to do marriage one time, and I want to do it right. So that's when I decided it was time for me to go.
