Netflix, contrary to popular assumption, contains a plethora of hidden treasures. One of them is Workin’ Moms. Following the lives of a group of women and their potential partners, this funny comedy combines modern-day motherhood and the professional office.
The show made its debut on CBC on January 10, 2017. It was also made available on Netflix globally in February 2019. The comedy series’ emphasis on mothers attempting to reconcile parenting with other elements of their lives has generally been favorably received by critics and viewers.
Season 7, which is also the finals season of the show, has finally arrived on the streaming platform. However, some viewers are still stuck on how Season 6 ended. It Was Heather Who Hits Anne in Workin’ Moms: Season 7 Update!
At the end of Season 6 of Workin’ Moms, Anne gets hit by a car by none other than Heather while she was on a jog and talking to Kate. While she and Kate were admitting how not talking to each other was not working, Anee sees Heather in the distance and begins to scream and the season ends with a car engine revving. Before revealing if Anne is dead, let’s back up a little on why Heather hit her with a car.

Alice, Anne’s daughter, began serving as Anne’s secretary at the beginning of season 6. This mother-daughter duo discovered something shocking at that point. It’s possible that Alice was a better therapist than her mother because of her innate talent. Due to her ability and her never-ending desire to enrage her mother, Alice ended herself taking on some of her mother’s clients. And that’s how Heather came into the frame between the two.
Unofficially, Heather started working with Alice. That violates a number of moral and legal bounds, but Heather went further when she stalked Alice at her high school. Heather was slammed into a car when Anne saw what she was doing and warned her that she would murder Heather if she ever approached her family again.
The last episode of the season ends with Kate and Anne reconciling just as Anne notices Heather glaring her down from a car. The phone call ends and we hear the revving of a car engine, but we don’t see what occurs next.

Now that the show is already over, we know that Anne indeed gets hit by Heather. However, she is not dead. In Season 7, Anne appears a little too joyful when she awakens in the hospital with her husband Lionel and Kate at her side. She later recovers at her home and gets completely okay by the end of the show.
Catherine Reitman Finished Workin’ Moms in Season 7 as She Wanted to End the Show While It Was Still Loved!
Nothing compares to the distinct anguish of having your favorite TV program canceled. Fans of the Netflix sitcom, Workin’ Moms, are unluckily in this exact situation after it was announced that season seven, which just premiered on the streaming service, would be the last season.
The series was canceled for the reason that it was preferable to end while it was still adored and prevent the creativity and affection from disappearing, according to the show’s creator Catherine Reitman in an interview with Variety. She explained,
We’ve all seen a show that loses its juice and keeps puttering and re-scrambling storylines … I didn’t want that to be the case with Workin’ Moms. Our fans have been incredibly loyal to us. I take that seriously.
In her mind, Catherine said, the show should come to a close, and negotiations about how that might happen began as soon as season six was being filmed. Catherine has frequently been asked if there would be a Workin’ Moms movie or a sequel, but she isn’t sure. She added,
The shows I see that have turned into films, often they’re such an insult to the show. I don’t think audiences enjoy it. A show exists at the time and in its iteration for a reason.
