There’s no easy way in making money. Every field requires hard work, dedication, and determination, and no field is easier than the others. Recently, we have been seeing that the involvement of people in real estate (notably Selling Sunset on Netflix) has tremendously burgeoned, and with this, the establishment of real state companies and agencies has increased too.
A group named The Oppenheim Group consists of twelve realtors: Christine Quinn, Chelsea Lazkani, Jason Oppenheim, Amanza Smith, Emma Hernan, Heather Rae El Moussa, Maya Vander, Davina Potratz, Vanessa Villela, Mary Fitzgerald, and Romain Bonnet.
This group of realtors is based in Los Angeles, California, and now, Netflix has brought an American television reality show, Selling Sunset based on the professional lives of twelve realtors. Davina has caught everyone’s eyes upon leaving Selling Sunset, let’s find out the actual reason behind it.
Previously, we touched on if Brett left the show.
Why Did Davina Potratz Leave Selling Sunset?
With exactly twelve cast members: Christine Quinn, Chelsea Lazkani, Jason Oppenheim, Amanza Smith, Emma Hernan, Heather Rae El Moussa, Maya Vander, Davina Potratz, Vanessa Villela, Mary Fitzgerald, and Romain Bonnet, a new American television reality show, Selling Sunset premiered on 22nd April 2022.
Davina Potratz (@davinapotratz) was a part of The Oppenheim group, and that let her to be a cast member of Selling Sunset, however, she left the group, and this has created curiosity among the audience to know the actual reason behind it.
Some people even assumed that Davina probably had a fight with other cast members which created suffocation, and maybe, in that rage, she might have taken the decision to permanently leave her job.
Conversely, the actual reason for Davina’s departure is that she was vested with more profitable opportunities. To be specific, Potratz had a strong connection with Douglas Elliman, and they offered her a greater opportunity which she couldn’t resist, and therefore, was compelled to leave The Oppenheim Group.
Davina didn’t have any hard feelings toward The Oppenheim group and she left it with a business mindset. She told, “It’s not that I wanted to leave, but I had a great opportunity. It was a purely business decision.”
Even the head of The Oppenheim Group, Jason (@jasonoppenheim) was sad about Davina’s decision, and at her farewell, he told, “Davina has always been a tremendous asset and a valued agent at the Oppenheim Group, and she is also a friend whose career decisions I very much respect and support.”
Why did Davina Potratz Join The Oppenheim Group Again?
Although Davina randomly left The Oppenheim Group and Selling Sunset, just in the fourth season, the real estate agent asked Jason to give her a job back, and again became part of The Oppenheim Group.
While almost everyone in The Oppenheim Group was happy with Davina’s return, shockingly, Chrishell admitted in one of the interviews that she wasn’t as excited as the other realtors, and she actually had neutral feelings regarding Davina.
While talking to Chrishell, Davina revealed that after leaving The Oppenheim Group, she had started working on a new development project but the project had wrapped up, and Davina had no idea what she should be doing next.
Chrishell advised her to get back to The Oppenheim Group. However, Davina was scared and told, “When I left the Oppenheim Group, there was a little tension because of what had happened with the $75 million listing because that didn’t sell but I feel like [Jason] wasn’t supportive from the beginning and it just didn’t start off the best way.”
