Technically, Sierra Stevens, the 17-year-old girl who was the subject of the documentary’s last episode, was never actually missing. In 2018, 14-year-old Sierra Stevens drove her father’s car and crashed it at the intersection of Highpoint Road and Indian Branch Road. According to the police, the 14-year-old driver of a 2007 Hyundai Santa Fe was stopped at the intersection’s stop sign. While the car accident didn’t harm her at all, she did take the life of a woman, a mother of 5 children.

According to authorities, the car attempted to turn left but did not give way, colliding with a 1998 Chevy Blazer driven by a woman who was traveling south on Highpoint Road.
Sierra Stevens was detained in a juvenile facility for 18 months after her father was charged with negligence. She was in a foster home since she was too young to live with her father or grandparents until she was eighteen. This meant she couldn’t live with her father or grandparents until she was eighteen, which is why she was placed in foster care.
Her mother would die from this condition when Sierra was young. At fourteen years old, Sierra would take her father’s car and crash it, resulting in death.
Her father was charged with neglect, and Sierra was sent to a juvenile detention center for eighteen months. This meant that she could not live with her father or grandparents until she was eighteen, which was why she was in the foster home. Currently, she is 17 years old. After a year, she can decide if she wants to go back to her father/grandparents or still live in her foster home. Else, she also will have the option to live on her own.

On the night she disappeared, Sierra Stevens apparently went to a friend’s house to party. When she went back to her house the following day after falling asleep there, her foster parents had already called the police out of concern for the youngster. However, Sierra became anxious when she saw the cops and feared another arrest.

When Sierra called her friend Emily, Emily recommended that she visit her home and stay there for a time. Sierra’s phone was inaccessible, and she hadn’t made contact with anyone since going missing.
Females who had previously disappeared from that region, according to the Netflix series, were forced into prostitution. Officers searched websites that advertised girls who were underage but were unable to find any leads.
