Is Sister Lilith Bad in Warrior Nun? Season 2 Ending Shows Changes in Her Character!

Sister Lilith isn’t bad in Netflix’s Warrior Nun. At the end of Season 2, she was able to discover the intention of Adriel and appreciated Ava for defeating him. Similarly, she warns Sister Beatrice that a Great War between Heaven and Hell was coming and approached her to fight as an ally.

We knew Netflix‘s Warrior Nun had finally found out what kind of show it was when the stately nun picked up a gun and started to kill a room full of demon-infested priests — and that show was entertaining as hell.

Ava, a 19-year-old who awakens in a mortuary, is the main character of Warrior Nun. She is informed that she belongs to a legendary group whose mission it is to hunt down demons on Earth. She has a divine artifact on her back that is being controlled by unidentified entities from both heaven and hell. She is not the only warrior nun on the stage, which makes it even more exciting.

Now that Season 2 of the series is back on the streaming platform, many viewers have a lot of questions to be answered. Similarly, they wonder if Sister Lilith is really bad after how the season concluded. Well, let’s find it out.

Before leaving, find out if Mary is really dead.

Sister Lilith Isn’t Really Bad in Warrior Nun: She Was Proud of How Ava Found Her Way in Defeating Adriel at the End of Season 2 and Became an Ally of Beatrice!

Sister Lilith has taken more outrageous turns than any other character on Warrior Nun. In Season 1, her major goal was to be the one to inherit the Halo from the deceased Sister Shannon. She is furious when Ava receives it instead, and she sets out on a mission to kill her.

But while she chases Ava, a monster Tarask kills her. Unexpectedly, Lilith not only survives death but also emerges from it with horrifying new abilities. She helps the Order after her return thanks to her demonic claws and quantum teleportation, which make her a potent ally.

In Season 2, Lilith notices that her skin is starting to itch and consults Dr. Jillian Salvius for advice. Jillian analyzes the scales and surmises that there has been some sort of mutation, but she is unable to provide her any concrete explanations. Lilith’s potential is unlocked by Adriel when she turns to him. This entails granting her huge, bat-like wings as well as the vision that enables her to perceive demons. She is, in other terms, a demon nun.

As Lilith questioned her transformation, she allowed herself to be drawn to Adriel’s side. The answers to what Lilith now remains a mystery, however in the season 2 finale of Warrior Nun, she underwent a significant change of heart at the very last second. Lilith engaged in a rivalry with Ava and fought for Adriel, although she had her own doubts about the angel from another plane.

Lilith was able to recognize Adriel for who he really was by the combination of Ava cutting her with the Divinium sword and stopping the battle to heal. In the end, Lilith is still a Sister Warrior at heart, and she was proud of Ava for defeating Adriel and demonstrating that she was after all a deserving Warrior Nun. Lilith must still discover the truth about who she is now and what she is becoming, and it is likely that she teleported away to do so. Lilith, in a foreboding nod to Adriel, warned Sister Beatrice that a Great War between Heaven and Hell was still to come.

Will There Be Season 3 of Warrior Nun?

When Netflix revived Warrior Nun for a second season that premiered on November 10, 2022, our earnest prayers were granted. But what does the fantasy teenage franchise’s future hold? Will Warrior Nun return for Season 3?

Although a third season hasn’t been officially announced as of this writing, series creator Simon Barry previously revealed to Inverse that there are plans going well beyond just three seasons. He said,

With Warrior Nun, I would give it a window because we’re still so early in the process of developing it. Anything between five and seven seasons would be lovely.

The main factor determining whether or not it transpires is you, dear readers, and how much you binge the current season. It has been more than two years since Warrior Nun was originally let loose from the bowels of hell, yet most of that time was lost to production delays brought on by pandemics. Therefore, if the show is renewed for a third season, we should anticipate new episodes to air sooner, ideally in early 2024. And if your trust is strong enough, perhaps a new season will start sooner, perhaps at the end of 2023.

Before leaving, find out if Warrior Nun is an LGBTQ show.
