Yes, Kitty in XO, Kitty Is Possibly Bisexual: She Likes Both Boys and Girls, Indicating That She Is neither Straight nor Gay

Yes, Kitty is bisexual in the show XO, Kitty because she has confessed that she likes girls, but she also likes boys. This means she is not straight, but she is also not gay. She falls in between the spectrum and is possibly bisexual or could be pansexual. In any case, the revelation provides Kitty with numerous opportunities to better understand herself. She had never given much thought to her sexuality until she moved to Korea. Kitty called her father for emotional support while trying to come to terms with her feelings in episode 10, where she questions whether she is bi, pan, or fluid.

She’d been in a relationship with Dae and had never had a crush on anyone, so she assumed she was straight. When Kitty visits Korea, she keeps it a secret from Dae in order to surprise him. But when they met at the welcome party, Kitty came to know that Dae was in a relationship with Yuri. She felt devastated, and this caused resentment toward Yuri. Kitty suspected their relationship was a sham, but her suspicions were never validated. She had no idea Yuri is gay and was faking the relationship with Dae to keep her family out of trouble.

However, Kitty thought she might have been wrong about her relationship and decided to move on and find someone else. She saw Yuri who hated her for stealing her boyfriend in a different light that same night. But at Min Ho’s party, she saw a softer, friendlier side of Yuri and realized why someone, even Dae, would be attracted to her. When Kitty had a sex dream about Yuri, things get heated. The dream confused Kitty, and she wondered if it was because she was too drunk the previous night. She didn’t discuss it with anyone because she was worried it might be perceived incorrectly. Moreover, she tried to ignore that thought, focusing on other things.

Kitty’s feelings, on the other hand, rush back, and she finds it difficult to stand too close to Yuri or be in her presence for too long. Kitty didn’t discuss her feeling with anyone because she believed Yuri was straight. But then, she founds out Yuri is gay, and her relationship with Dae was fake. Even when Yuri and Dae broke up, and Dae and Kitty got together, she can’t help but think about Yuri. She felt heartbroken when she heard Yuri talking to her girlfriend, Juliana, just like Dae felt when he heard that Kitty wanted to find someone else for herself.

After keeping her feelings to herself for a long time, Kitty finally came clean to Yuri, but their conversation never culminated in a proper discussion, By the end, Juliana returned, and Kitty got expelled, leaving no room for their romance to blossom. However, the show hints that Kitty’s feelings might not be one-sided because, on one occasion, even Juliana wonders if Yuri has developed feelings for Kitty.

It remains to be seen whether Kitty and Yuri will be able to explore their feelings for one another, but for the time being, Kitty’s sexuality is clear. She admits to Dae that she enjoys both girls and boys. This means she is not straight, but she is also not gay. She is somewhere in the middle of the spectrum and is most likely bisexual or pansexual. In any case, the revelation allows Kitty to better understand herself.
