Similar levels of connection existed between David and his father, Elton Carter. He worked at the Magna Seating Plant in Highland Park, Michigan, while running his own clothing company. David Carter was close to his family and volunteered for the Melvindale Junior Football League.
During the first week of October 2018, David Carter missed three days of work. His sister, Tasia Carter-Jackson, in particular, was worried by this and hurried to his house. There, they found the door unlocked and the bed unmade, both of which seemed odd. He wasn’t there, but the carpeted bedroom floor and the mattress both appeared to have bloodstains. A sleeping bag was found in some weeks next to a highway on October 1, 2018, by a department of transportation employee.

A few weeks before going missing, David Carter attended a movie with his cousin. But when she dropped him off again, he saw that his car’s tires had been damaged. He thought Tammy was at fault because he had gone to the movies with his cousin rather than her. Tammy didn’t contribute to the search operations even after David was reported missing. She was detained on October 5, 2018, in connection with David’s death, but she was quickly freed due to a lack of sufficient evidence.
To the family’s dismay, Tammy did, however, vanish at some point in October. Since then, she has been missing, and according to the law, she belonged to the sorority Eastern Stars. This implied that she had a large social circle. According to the inquiry, she was spotted in Ann Arbor, Michigan, on October 16, 2018.
She was seen eating at a restaurant, and it was caught on camera. According to the episode, she checked into a hotel, stayed there for the night of October 18, 2018, and then left, making that her final sighting. Tammy is still being sought by the US Marshals, and information that could result in her apprehension could earn you a reward.
