Romantic partners frequently have second thoughts about a lifelong commitment. However, how does it feel when one partner is eager to settle down but the other is still wary of sharing a home? Well, The Ultimatum: Queer Love on Netflix brings together five couples in the same situation to explore just that.

These couples are also permitted to mix and have one final trial relationship before making the most significant choice of their lives. At the same time, the partner who is ready for marriage offers an ultimatum to their better half.

Xander Boger joins the show with Vanessa Papa, her girlfriend of more than four years. There is a lot of history between Vanessa and Xander since they have known one another since they were teenagers. While Xander is prepared to get married and start a family, Vanessa isn’t certain that’s what she wants. On the other hand, many viewers are interested to know more about Xander, including her birthday and Instagram profile. Well, let’s get started.

Previously, we touched on Rae Cheung-Sutton and Lexi Goldberg.

It appears she also likes to enjoy being outdoors and exercising. Additionally, she also enjoys visiting the beach and she resides in Hawaii. It’s clear that she likes to spend time around the natural beauty. Now let’s talk about her journey in the Netflix show.

Vanessa Papa (@itsvanessapapa) initially met Xander as a high school senior in one of the most traditional queer ways possible – their boyfriends were best friends. As a result, they did get to know one another a little during this time, but it wasn’t until five years later at a local taco truck that they (re)met, which prompted the former to act quickly. Although they had only come out to their best friend up until that point, they felt comfortable enough to say “yes” when Vanessa asked if Xander was single and gay.

Vanessa still desired a life of complete freedom/non-permanence whereas Xander had reached the stage where they needed stability, marriage, and a full-blown family, giving rise to the ultimatum. Xander said in The Ultimatum,

I feel like we have a connection that I’m never gonna find again. And I don’t honestly want to look for it again. But I want to be married.

Meanwhile, Vanessa said,

I love [my girlfriend] so much, but I never envisioned a long-term relationship. I don’t want permanency. I don’t want stability. I want freedom; that’s not what a marriage consists off.

Although Xander was aware of this, she was prepared to end their relationship because she genuinely cared more about their future children than anything or anybody else. However, neither of them could have predicted the different ways things would unfold after they began dating the other gay people who had also purposefully joined The Ultimatum.

After all, whilst Xander found herself developing close to Yoly Rojas, Vanessa swiftly developed flirtationships with (inconveniently) both Lexi Goldberg and her ex-girlfriend, Rae Cheung-Sutton. However, it soon became clear that the former didn’t genuinely believe her own “ex” would develop an affinity, much less the sort they did.

As a result, practically everyone began to wonder about the influencer’s ultimate goals. The truth is that only her partner stood up for her in front of others, but even she thought she was acting selfishly because she wasn’t in the least bit reserving anything.

Then there is the fact that Vanessa chose Rae for the three-week trial marriage while repeatedly telling Xander to “f**k off” when she selected Yoly for the same. We also can’t ignore the fact that both of them engaged in physical activity with their new partners, but the latter was marked by intense emotion, care, and dedication while the former’s was more for entertainment purposes alone.

In fact, Xander and Yoly developed such an intense connection over the course of their three weeks together that it genuinely seemed as if they were in love, making their relationship with Vanessa shakier than ever. Visit Netflix to know what happens next to their relationship.
