According to People, Sonders was the face of Golf Channel‘s Morning Drive for five years until joining Fox Sports in 2015. She was hired to anchor Fox Sports’ recently acquired USGA coverage, replacing Greg Norman, who was fired after one season. Sonders covered the USGA championship, U.S. Opens, and U.S. Women’s Opens for the sports network.

Sonders and De La Hoya first met in June 2021 at Bally’s Fight Night. As the event’s presenter, Sonders interviewed current and former fighters, which is how she and De La Hoya connected. TMZ got images of the couple on a date at Nobu in Malibu in August 2021. However, the pair didn’t make Instagram official until November of that year.
