Lover, Stalker, Killer is a new American real crime documentary on Netflix that follows the lives of three people: Dave Kroupa, Liz Golyar, and Cari Farver, and how their lives become connected with one another. It all began when a recently single dad (Dave) joined a dating service and met a woman named Liz Golyar. The two quickly hit it off, but they were never exclusive.

All was going well until Goylar discovered that Kroupa was also seeing a woman called Cari Farver at the time. Then, through a sequence of terrible events, Goylar murdered Farver, for which she was imprisoned. Despite being convicted and jailed, Goylar never admitted to her actions, and Farver’s body was not found.

With the release of the documentary, many people have been invested in the case and want to know more about all the individuals, especially Liz Golyar. They want to know about her kids (children), her psychology, her birthday, and where she is today. Well, here is her complete Wikipedia.

She met Dave Kroupa in 2012 via a dating app. Kroupa claims he told the mother of two that he simply wanted a casual connection. According to the prosecution, Golyar met Cari Farver in the hallway of Kroupa’s apartment building, when the former had arrived unexpectedly to pick up her stuff.

Kroupa last saw Cari on November 13, 2012, as she left his apartment for work. Cari texted Kroupa a few hours later, requesting to move in together, despite the two’s desire to keep things casual.

After rejecting Cari’s request, he received a furious text that said, “Fine. I hate you. I’m dating someone else. I don’t want to see you anymore. Go away.” Nobody saw Cari again, but Kroupa continued to receive texts from her for years, ranging from stalking to threats.

Golyar claimed she also received similar texts from Cari telling her to leave Kroupa alone. As per reports, Cari’s mother received a text from her daughter stating that she had moved to Kansas City. However, Cari’s mother became concerned when she missed her son’s 15th birthday and her father’s funeral, and she called the police. In 2015, no one had seen Cari in two and a half years.

Investigator Ryan Avis and Sergeant Jim Doty of the Pottawattamie County Sheriff’s Office then took up the case. The inquiry revealed that Golyar not only murdered Farver but also kept her phone to impersonate her online.

Details on Liz Golyar’s Kids (Children) & Family!

Liz Golyar faced a lot of problems as she wasn’t raised by her real parents. Her mother died in a car accident before they were supposed to reunite and her father drank himself to death.

As for her family, she married young and even gave birth to her two kids (children). It appears that her partner at the time was Raymond Nycz, whom she met as a coworker at Triple S Plastics in Battle Creek, only to fall madly in love in a matter of months. However, the couple was unable to make things work in the long run and split up in 1998, most likely around the time their second kid, Cody Nathaniel Golyar, was born on August 25, 1998.

Liz then began dating Glenn Herr, but the relationship ended in early 1999 when the latter shook her 5-month-old son to death – Cody died of shaken baby syndrome on January 30, 1999.

After the defendant pled guilty and received a term ranging from 8½ to 25 years in prison, his 24-year-old ex-girlfriend attempted to cope with the devastating loss. She went on to have another kid and a few unsuccessful relationships, including one in which she appeared to show early signs of fixation, but nothing seemed too noteworthy until she met Dave Kroupa in 2012.

Psychology: Liz Golyar’s Past Life Might Have Had an Impact on Her!

Liz Golyar‘s jealousy led to the death of Cari Farver. However, it is believed that it wasn’t just jealousy. Her past life had a big impact on her psychology. Along with all the partner and ‘kids’ trauma, she also had a very poor upbringing.

She was born in Kalamazoo, Michigan, into a large but dysfunctional family, with her parents’ names still unknown. By the time she was born, they had already lost custody of at least two of their children, and her father was also facing allegations of indecent sexual liberties with a minor. It’s no surprise that she was placed in foster care alongside another of her siblings, only for her mother to work hard to reunite the family permanently.

The reality is Liz’s mother took all of the necessary steps to raise her own children, but everything changed only two weeks before their reunion in 1978 when she died in a car accident.

On the other hand, her father eventually drank himself to death, causing these large brood siblings to be split within the system until gradually being adopted by new, distinct families. Even she was apparently taken in by a couple when she was a little child, resulting in her name being formally changed to Shanna Elizabeth “Liz” — her adoptive parents provided her with her identity.

Where Is Liz Golyar Today?

Liz Golyar was charged with Cari Farver‘s first-degree murder on December 22, 2016, and he was found guilty on August 15, 2017. As of today, she is currently serving a life term in the Nebraska Correctional Center for Women.
