John Wayne Gacy’s execution was held on May 10, 1994, and his last words were, “kiss my a*s.” He was convicted of 12 murders and executed by lethal injection. Many people found his words as one of the saddest final words. Additionally, some Reddit users want to know John Wayne Gacy’s full story.

Dahmer – Monster: The Jeffrey Dahmer Story is a Netflix original limited biographical crime drama series created by Ryan Murphy and Ian Brennan that premiered on September 21, 2022. The series depicts the killings of legendary serial killer Jeffrey Dahmer, played by Evan Peters, and is presented through the eyes of his victims.

The ten-part drama series examines the subject from Dahmer’s perspective, demonstrating how he was almost captured at least ten times yet always managed to get away with his crimes. This was largely due to his white privilege and the failures of the police. However, in 1992, he was sentenced to sixteen life terms in prison for the horrific crimes he committed between 1978 and 1991. However, Dahmer was not in prison for long because he was murdered by a fellow inmate in 1994.

Similarly, another serial killer named John Wayne Gacy also makes a short appearance in the show. Widely known as The Killer Clown, Gacy raped, tortured, and murdered at least 33 young men and boys. Later, he was arrested when an investigation into the disappearance of a teenager, Robert Piest, led to him.

Over sixty hours of conversations with Gacy were recorded while he awaited trial. Since his short appearance, many people have been curious to know about his crime as well as his last words before dying.

Previously, we touched on Gacy’s last meal.

Last Words of John Wayne Gacy: The Serial Killer Said ‘Kiss My A*S’ Before His Execution on May 10, 1994; How Actually Did He Die? Reddit Update!

As soon as John Wayne Gacy made an appearance on the show, many people started seeking information about his execution. Additionally, he is also widely known for his last words before his death, which some people find the saddest final words of all time.

John Wayne Gacy’s murders are like those of many other serial killers which lacked rhyme or reason. However, he was caught and executed for his crimes, and his last words before he died were said to be, “kiss my a*s.” Similarly, he can also be heard weirdly laughing on the tapes as he stated,

I’ve killed 33 people, and you can only kill me once.

Gacy was well known for his performance of Pogo the Clown, in which he dressed up as a clown and performed at various children’s hospitals and events. Gacy’s victims included gay s*x workers and young men looking for work. His construction company hired a large number of young men, and several of them went missing.

John Wayne Gace was convicted of murdering at least 33 teen boys and young men between 1972 and 1978. He murdered or suffocated to death all of them in his suburban Norwood Park ranch house, then buried 26 of the victims in the crawl area beneath his house.

There was a significant focus on the LGBT community at the time, as well as young males who used to be sexual abuse victims. During the 1970s and 1980s, a male being raped by another man was not recognized or understood culturally, and the police and society failed many men as a result, including the victims of Gacy.

Gacy was convicted of homosexual acts of 15-year-old Donald Voorhees in Waterloo, India, in 1968. He was sentenced to ten years in prison but served only 18 months. He was given released with a 12-month probation period. His criminal convictions were erased, allowing him to start afresh in a new city.

One of the victims, Robbie Piest, has his story told across the episodes of Jeffrey Dahmer’s biographic series Monster: The Jeffrey Dahmer Story. After his death investigation, the police were able to reopen the case and identify several of his victims, giving them a voice, some answers, and eventually forgiveness, allowing them to become more than just a statistic.

He was not arrested again for his involvement in the murder of Robert Piest until December 21, 1978. Following that, he stayed in jail throughout his trial, eventually being sent to death row, where he remained until his execution.

In 1980, he was sentenced to death for 12 of those killings, and he was executed by lethal injection on May 10, 1994. He had been on death row for the previous 14 years. His execution was postponed due to a blockage in the tube. He died after 18 minutes. At 12:58 a.m. the same morning, he was declared dead.

According to an Associated Press story at the time, the blockage and delay caused him no harm. Likewise, Will County Sheriff Patrick O’Neil added,

To the best of my knowledge and the knowledge of the pathologist, he did not suffer any pain.
