You read it right. Born in March 1996, Jack is currently 27 years old. On the other hand, Katey was born on January 19, 1954, and is 69 years old at the moment. Just like you, we didn’t believe she was approaching her 70s initially. We then realized that she has been in the entertainment sector for more than 5 decades.

Jack White is Katey Sagal’s third child. He was born after she got married to her second husband whose name also was Jack White. Prior to Jack, the couple gave birth to 2 daughters, one of whom was stillbirth.

Meanwhile, his father was a drummer for Ike and Tina Turner and singer Rick Springfield. After getting married in 1993, Katey and Jack (the father) got divorced in 2000 citing irreconcilable problems.

Before Jack (again! the father), Kater was married to Freddie Beckmeier from 1977 to 1981. However, they didn’t have any children during their marriage. After splitting with Jack, Katey has been married to Kurt Sutter since 2004. The couple decided to grow their family after a few years of marriage. Katey made the decision to become a surrogate mother at the age of 52, and her Esme Louise was born on January 10, 2007.

Like his mother, who recounted her road to sobriety in her memoir Grace Notes, he also battles a substance addiction problem. When Jackson got the part in Tell Me Lies, he said he was trying to get sober. In an interview with Esquire, he said,

I was going through a pretty dark period in my life. I was getting sober and coming to terms with a lot and getting my life together. And I realized how important work was to my psyche and how much balance I wanted in my life. I really wanted to put a new foot forward towards it all, and I was throwing my sh*t against the wall and screaming and trying to make sense of this business because it’s insane. And I think whatever that was, mixed with a lot of self-reflection, a lot of sh*t that I was working on in my life lined up with this opportunity.
