According to sources, Anna Nicole Smith had a $1 million net worth at the time of her death. Fox News claims that her daughter, Dannielynn, was given all the money and property when she was just 18 months old. Daniel Wayne Smith, Anna Nicole’s son, previously held title to the estate; however, he passed away at age 20—three days before Dannielynn was born.

Dannielynn reportedly got $700,000, and the court also appointed Larry Birkhead and Howard K. Stern as co-trustees. This is because Anna Nicole specified in her 2001 will that the assets in Daniel’s trust should be split equally if she had further children. Additionally, she had the right to any money that Anna Nicole would have received from the Marshalls. Unfortunately, she didn’t get any.
According to Forbes, a 2006 ruling granted $474 million to Anna Nicole, but she never received it since the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit reversed the judgment. According to the Court of Appeals, the California court lacked the authority to issue such a decision.
Even though Anna Nicole appealed against the decision up until her death, neither she nor Dannielynn ever succeeded. Howard, however, gave Dannielynn Anna Nicole’s belongings in 2020 after keeping them in storage for 13 years.
The items, unfortunately, had more sentimental significance than monetary value because Howard claimed in legal documents that the value of the things was less than his storage costs. Nevertheless, Dannielynn is said to have a $3 million net worth, so she and Larry, who was granted full custody of her daughter in 2007, are probably doing pretty well.
Who Was Dannielynn’s Biological Father?
Since Howard K. Stern‘s name was initially on Dannielynn‘s birth certificate, the general public believed that he was her father at the time of Anna Nicole’s death in February 2007. Stern also thought he was Dannielynn’s father because he was Anna Nicole Smith‘s boyfriend at the time of her death.
However, Larry Birkhead was anxious about getting custody of his daughter, especially in the aftermath of Anna Nicole’s death. And in April 2007, a DNA test that was mandated by the court established that Larry was in fact Dannielynn’s father. Stern agreed with the findings and was helpful, giving Larry complete custody. Later, Stern said,
We’re gonna do what we can to make sure that the best interests of Dannielynn are carried out. And I’m going to do whatever I can to make sure that [Larry] gets sole custody. Larry can come over to the house and spend as much time with [Dannielynn] as he wants to right now.

Although Danniellyn now lives with Birkhead, Stern apparently continues to be involved in her life. In an interview with E! News, Birkhead said,
[Stern] gives advice and reaches out to us. Some people may think it’s weird, but he’s a good friend and has been real supportive.
