According to her LinkedIn profile, Nicole Steck attended Muttenz High School from 1994 to 1997 and pursued her studies in Economics there. She later enrolled at the University of Bern in 1998 and earned a degree in Political Economics there in 2003.
Ueli Steck‘s wife also spent some time studying abroad from 2000 to 2001 at Maastricht University in the Netherlands to hone her English language abilities. Nicole worked with Black Diamond Equipment from 2004 until 2007 as a member of the Marketing Coordination team. She then returned to the University of Bern as a student in 2007 to continue working toward her Master of Science in Business Administration, which she eventually earned in 2009.
Along with other things, she studied for a semester at the University of Granda in Spain in 2008 to hone her Spanish. She also won the Marketing Talent Award that year.

She also obtained a second Digital Excellence Diploma from IMD in February 2021 for Digital Strategy and Analytics, and in June 2021, she obtained a third from the same institution for Digital Supply Chain Management.
