Timothee Chalamet (@tchalamet) has been receiving a lot of criticism for his controversial anti-Hamas SNL joke. Some have even labeled him a zionist. On November 11, 2023, he hosted Saturday Night Live (SNL) for a second time. The actor gave a musical performance to promote his new movie Wonka, which was about to be released.

The sketch depicted a failing musician contemplating suicide on a building’s ledge. Three spectators interfered, vowing to post the musician’s dreadful songs online. The joke came when the musician disclosed the name of his band, a reference to the ongoing strife in Israel: “My band is called H A M A S,” which spells out the name of the controversial organization.

The spectators then said, “Brother, we are not sharing a Hamas song.” Despite his efforts, the musician ended up falling from the building. Before the video concluded, one of the comedy group members looked out the window as an ambulance siren blared, before another member advised them to return to work as if nothing had happened.

Almost 12k people died in 34 days, and a genocide is happening now in Palestine by zionists and somehow SNL and Timothee Chalamet thinks making jokes about Hamas and what is happening is ok and using suicide as a joke. How they agree to do this, everything is wrong in this video

Most of the jokes on SNL are already pathetically unfunny but this one was the worst of them all. Not only was it just incredibly distasteful, it is something that affects children. Children are being slaughtered and you are joking about it
