Following the departure of Justin Roiland, new cast member, actor Dan Stevens, gives his voice to Korvo in Season 4 of Solar Opposites.
Solar Opposites on Hulu is perhaps one of the funniest mature-themed cartoons on television. Variety stated that once it made its debut in May 2020, the sci-fi comedy quickly became one of Hulu’s most popular programs, and it continues to delight viewers every season.
The success of the series has been largely attributed to a variety of factors. The characters are just one of the many factors that make it so enjoyable. It’s undeniable that in the popular Hulu series, Terry (Thomas Middleditch) and Korvo (Justin Roiland) receive the most of the attention.
However, things have changed now. Justin Roiland was fired following his arrest on domestic abuse accusations. A new actor gives voice to Korvo in Season 4 of the series. Regardless of all the controversy, many people have been curious to know who replaced Justin. Well, here’s everything you need to know about the new cast member.
Solar Opposites’ New Cast: The Voice of Korvo Is Given by Actor Dan Stevens!
Following the termination of Justin Roiland, the new cast who gives voice to Korvo in all the episodes of Solar Opposites Season 4 is Dan Stevens.
After he was charged in January 2023 with one felony crime of domestic battery with corporal injury and one felony count of false imprisonment by menace, violence, fraud, and/or deceit, the streamer immediately cut ties with the creator of the show.

Due to a lack of evidence, charges were withdrawn the following March, but the harm had already been done. With the intention of carrying on his ongoing projects without him, Hulu Originals and 20th TV Animation had already cut ties with Roiland.
Solar Opposites was created in 2018 by Star Trek: Lower Decks creators Roiland and Mike McMahan, and Hulu ordered two seasons. In addition to co-creating and executive producing the show’s first season, Roiland also provided the voice of Korvo, the show’s protagonist and an intelligent alien scientist who hates Earth.
After Roiland’s legal issues, it was announced that the character would be recast and in June, it was revealed that British actor Dan Stevens would fill it.
On August 14, 2023, the series released all 11 episodes of its most recent season and swiftly addressed the character’s new voice. Korvo’s friend Terry unintentionally hits the other alien in the throat while shooting darts in the first episode’s opening scene. While blue blood is oozing from his wound, Korvo writhes in agony.
Yumyulack is instructed by Terry to receive his voice-fixing ray. Korvo is healed and has a seductive British accent after just one zap. When Jesse comments that Korvo’s voice sounds strange, Yumyulack says it’s because the ray is out of calibration. He attempts to mend it, but Terry prevents him from doing so.
