As of this writing, we are unsure of what powers Sister Sage possesses in The Boys as she is the new character written only for the show; she isn’t a part of the original comics. However, various sources claim she might have something to do with telepathy and magic.

The first teaser trailer for The Boys season 4 is out now. The hit Prime Video drama, produced by Eric Kripke and based on the comic book by Garth Ennis and Darick Robertson, was renewed for a fourth season in June 2022 and is all set to be released in 2024.

Even though production ended in April of this year, the show’s comeback was postponed as a sign of sympathy with the writers’ strike. However, now that the strikes have ended, there have been additional revelations about the next chapter of the Emmy-nominated superhero parody.

Sister Sage was introduced as one of the new characters in the franchise as soon as the show was announced for Season 4. However, do know that the character is not in the comics. It is solely built for the show. As a result, we have found that people have been curious to know what Sister Sage’s powers are. Well, let’s discuss it in detail.

Previously, we touched on Truth Bomber and Antony Starr’s wife.

Sister Sage Could Have Powers Like Telepathy & Magic!

Since Sister Sage isn’t a part of The Boys comics and is about to be featured on the show for the first time, we have no idea about her origin and powers. Similarly, not much about her character is revealed in the recently released teaser trailer. However, showrunner Eric Kripke previously revealed that Sister Sage and Firecracker “are some of the best & craziest ever written.”

Despite the hidden information, various sources predict that Sister Sage might have telepathic and magical powers. The only thing known about her at the time of publication is that she will be an original character created for the program. According to the official The Boys Twitter page, she is also a pretty clever and smart individual who is a thousand steps ahead of everyone.

Her distinct perspective on the universe, however, was shown in the previously released teaser during her interaction with Homelander, in which she told him:

Rome. Greece. All democracies fail because people are f**king stupid. But if you crush the masses… Who builds your monuments? Who tongues your taint? No, the people will tear it apart themselves. You just gotta nudge ’em a little. Then you get to swoop in. Be the one saving it.

Given her statements, Sister Sage could be closely associated with Homelander and so serve as a key enemy to The Boys and their allies.

Examining The Boys Season 4 Teaser Trailer in Detail!

The new teaser trailer begins with a scene of Antony Starr as Homelander having his back to the camera. A possible political strategist appears to be advising Homelander in the voiceover.

The adviser informs Homelander how effective it is to separate people, allowing them to fight among themselves before swooping in to save them. The teaser also teases Robert Singer and Victoria Neuman‘s presidential campaign, which was alluded to in The Boys season 3 finale.

The Boys season 4 teaser then cuts to Starligh and Hughie sharing a pleasant moment. There’s also a glimpse of Starlight and Homelander clashing, with irate protestors holding anti-Starlight signs. Soon after, the preview cuts to a fast cut of some of the new supes that will appear in future episodes. Similarly, a brief moment suggests Ashley is involved with Vought‘s favorite newscaster, Cameron Coleman.

Finally, the trailer concludes with Billy Butcher interacting with Jeffrey Dean Morgan‘s character. Thus, the wait for season 4 is almost over, as the show returns Homelander, Butcher, and everyone else.
