Sam Whitelock has been married to his wife, Hannah, since 2016. They are now a family of 5 as they have 3 children together. And their names are Fred, Iris, and Penelope.
Sam Whitelock has been making headlines as he led his team, Crusaders, to win the Super Rugby Pacific final against the Chiefs despite an ankle knock. There's no doubt he has some explaining to do to the New Zealand coach, Ian Foster.
By playing the entire 80 minutes with a painful Achilles tendon when the Crusaders defeated the Chiefs 25-20 in Hamilton on Saturday, Whitelock acknowledged he wouldn't have won the hearts of the All Blacks management. The 34-year-old felt it was worthwhile to take home a trophy in the crunch encounter that put an end to his 181-game, 14-season tenure with the Crusaders.
On the other hand, many people have been curious to know more about Sam Whitelock's personal life, including his wife. Well, here is everything you need to know about his family.

Sam Whitelock Has Some Explanation to Give to the All Blacks Coach After Playing Despite the Injury!
Before joining French side Pau following the Rugby World Cup, Sam Whitelock spent 14 seasons and 181 games with the Crusaders. He thought it was worthwhile to win a trophy in the final. Based on what he knew about the injury, All Blacks coach Ian Foster had expected last week that Whitelock would miss the championship game.
Before their first Rugby Championship encounter away to Argentina on July 8, the All Blacks will assemble the next week. And Whitelock anticipates a few difficult questions. He said,
The body is definitely sore, I think I'll be in a bit of trouble with All Blacks management, but it's so good to sign off for a number of guys who have had massive careers with the Crusaders.
Whitelock, who was playing a record 24th Super Rugby playoff match and edging out former teammate and legendary All Blacks great Richie McCaw, received high accolades from Crusaders coach Scott Robertson. Whitelock, who has 143 Test caps, has a chance to surpass McCaw's 148-cap national record in his last match at the Rugby World Cup in France.
Whitelock was named man of the match for the second consecutive Super Rugby championship, having also played a significant role in their victory over the Auckland Blues the previous year.
