Rob Lowe’s Plastic Surgery: Here’s All the Detail on the 59-Year-Old Actor’s “Unnatural-Looking” Face!

Rob Lowe has been accused of having plastic surgery ever since he played the role of Liberace’s plastic surgeon in his biopic, Behind the Candelabra, in 2013. Many people believe he has received a few cosmetic treatments in real life as well. However, the 59-year-old remains to be silent on the accusation.

Known for his roles in films such as The Outsiders, St. Elmo’s Fire, and Wayne’s World, as well as in television shows like The West Wing, Parks and Recreation, and 9-1-1: Lone Star, Rob Lowe has had a successful career in the entertainment industry.

Working as an actor for more than 4 decades, Rob has definitely proved how good he is at his profession. Additionally, Lowe has also worked behind the scenes as a producer and director, and he has authored several books, including his memoir Stories I Only Tell My Friends.

Rob Lowe has been suspected of undergoing plastic surgery for a long time now and it seems the discussion is not going to end any time sooner. Well, let’s find out what the truth is and how actually the rumor started.

Rob Lowe’s Plastic Surgery: Many People Believe the 59-Year-Old Actor Has an Unnatural Face!

Many of you might not believe but the rumor about Rob Lowe (@roblowe) undergoing plastic surgery started more than a decade ago. Yes, it all started when the 59-year-old actor was cast to play Liberace‘s plastic surgeon in a 2013 movie, Behind the Candelabra. He played the role of Dr. Jack Startz in the biopic. Of course, he appeared in the movie with tons of plastic surgery on his face as Dr. Jack’s face was full of surgeries in real life.

As mentioned earlier, Lowe’s character is a plastic surgeon who is introduced to Liberace by Thorson in the movie. Startz becomes one of Liberace’s closest confidants and performs multiple cosmetic surgeries on both Liberace and Thorson.

However, many people also started wondering he Rob Lowe had plastic surgery in real life as well. Many people have accused him of having an unnatural face, especially his chin. Most of them believe he definitely has done some work on his chin. Additionally, some people also have accused him of receiving non-surgical treatments to prevent aging.

While there’s a huge difference between rumors and facts, we have to wait for Rob’s official statement to confirm if he has undergone plastic surgery or not. He has never addressed the rumors. Perhaps, he does not really care about what people think about his appearance.

And it’s totally understandable why he does not really care about people’s opinions as long as he is happy with his decisions. We should always let people do what makes them happy if it does not affect anybody else’s life. And Rob Lowe seems to be enjoying whatever he’s doing. Probably letting people gossip about his appearance. We’ll surely get back to you as soon as we get any official statements regarding his plastic surgery.

After many significant issues in the 1980s, Lowe previously credited his wonderful wife with not just clearing up his public image but also with saving him in his personal life. In an interview with Entertainment Tonight, he said,

Listen, she may have saved my life, really. I mean, she met me when I was at the end of my ’80s run of wild boy craziness and she was worth changing my life for. And so I am really lucky that that happened to me. Maybe I had changed it on my own, maybe, but it’s a big maybe. And just when I met her, I knew that if I could not make it with her, I definitely could not make it work with anyone else.
