The wealthy Porsche executive, Wolfgang Porsche, whose wife’s dementia caused marital issues, is divorcing his wife and moving in with his new girlfriend, a former model. Once Claudia Porsche, 74, was given a dementia diagnosis two years ago, changes in her behavior made it difficult for Wolfgang, 79, to live with her.

The car tycoon filed for divorce, according to people close to the couple, amid rumors that he had recently become closer to a friend of 25 years, Gabriele Prinzessin zu Leiningen. He has already moved in with his new girlfriend, Gabriela (59 years old), and the couple recently enjoyed a trip to the Maldives.

It was revealed that Porsche divorced Claudia, his partner of 16 years, who had been diagnosed with a condition resembling dementia. According to sources who spoke to the German tabloid Bild, the billionaire finds it “difficult” to live with his wife since her deteriorating health is said to have irrevocably changed who she is.

According to reports, she hasn’t been able to walk on her own for months, and her mental awareness has rapidly worsened. After dating since 2007, Wolfgang and Claudia got married in 2019.

Ferdinand Porsche, the Austro-Bohemian founder of Porsche AG, was his grandpa.
