During an Instagram Live, she accidentally announced her personal relationship milestone. When Walsh’s boyfriend, Andrew Nixon, entered the picture, she was having a conversation with her former Private Practice co-star Amy Brenneman. She said,
Here comes the jungle cat. That is my fiancé.
Brenneman said to the farmer, “She just 100% outed your engagement,” as the farmer smiled and waved at the camera. The video showed Walsh’s ring, which she later confirmed: “I did. I just outed our engagement.” But who exactly is Nixon?
Perhaps Kate Walsh’s desire for something new was a result of years of having difficult connections with people in the entertainment world, while Nixon had no connection to the industry at all. According to Perth Now, he works as a farmer in his hometown of Moora for the Nixon Farming family business.
