Sounds crazy right? Who gets a breast reduction before even finishing a teen life? Well, Soleil previously told PEOPLE that she was she was abused because of her big breasts. She said,
I was in this position where I was going through puberty, and I developed very quickly. Everywhere I went I was called Punky Boobster, and people would stare directly at my boobs.

Soleil Moon Frye also recalled that she was often offered “t*ts and a*s roles” and she then realized that she was getting attention for things she didn’t want. She then discovered that the reason behind the rapid growth of her breasts was gigantomastia, a rare condition that involves developing extremely large breasts. She even felt discomfort in hugging people.
As a result, she got breast reduction surgery at the age of 16. She further added,
It was a time when I was confronting my fears about becoming a woman. I needed to be sure that I was doing this for myself—not for producers or boyfriends or my family. It takes a lot of courage. I didn’t know I would be so happy. I am just loving myself right now. I’m finally free to be the teenager that I am.
