Rodney Terry has been in a relationship with his girlfriend, Vielka Rivers, for a few years now. Defeating the No. 1 Houston Cougars in the Sweet 16, they defeated the No. 2 Texas Longhorns in the Elite Eight of the tournament. Led by coach Rodney Terry, the Longhorns were one of the favorites to win March Madness this year.

The couple is very open about their dating life and frequently posts each other on each other’s Instagram. Terry has sent Vielka many birthdays and Valentine’s Day greetings, as well as a recent image of the two enjoying a Texas game.

While Rivers’ Instagram is set to private, Terry’s girlfriend’s bio describes her as a businesswoman, stylist, designer, model, teacher, and mother. Vielka, the owner of Mercer Salon, was born in Nicaragua in 1975. Prince Elias and Eden Elias Ewing are her two sons from a previous marriage. Eden, who was born in 1997, played power forward for Purdue during the 2017-18 NCAA campaign. He was later transferred to Texas Southern University for his final two college seasons. He currently plays for the Brazilian basketball club, Minas Belo Horizonte.
However, we’re unaware of when the two started dating. Similarly, details of River’s first marriage and Rodney Terry’s past dating life have yet to be revealed. Matter of fact, we don’t think their previous relationship should be discussed as well. After all, everyone has a past, and everyone has the right to move n from it.
Looking at the way their relationship is going, we believe the couple might get soon married. But again, they have not revealed any information about their plan of getting married.

Rodney Terry’s Coaching Career!
Before being designated Interim Head Coach of the Texas Longhorns for the remainder of the 2022–23 season in January, Rodney Terry was named Acting Head Coach at The University of Texas in December. Terry attended St. Edward’s University in Austin as a basketball player after graduating from Angleton High School in 1990.
Midway through the 1990s, Rodney served as an assistant coach at Baylor. He then joined Texas in 2002 as Rick Barnes‘ assistant coach, where he enjoyed a fruitful 10 years. In 2003, he assisted in the team’s recruitment of players like Kevin Durant and helped them advance to the NCAA Tournament Final Four.
Afterward, he worked for Fresno State, helping its NCAA Tournament run. He was named the men’s basketball team’s head coach at the University of Texas at El Paso in 2018.
During the following five seasons, Rodney Terry will reportedly get an average salary of $3 million. His coaching this season has earned him a well-deserved contract. In the regular season, Terry guided the Longhorns to a 29-win record. They had their third-best season in school history. Also, he led the group to its first Final Eight participation in more than 15 years. Terry received a lot of support from current and past players during his first news conference.
