Vladimir Putin’s Rumored Girlfriend Age: Alina Kabaeva Is 39 Years Old in 2023 and Is 31 Years Younger Than the Russian President!

Vladimir Putin‘s rumored girlfriend, Alina Kabaeva, was born on 12 May 1983. Hence, her age is 39 years old. Meanwhile, Putin is 70 years old as of this writing. Yes, the possible couple has an age difference of massive 31 years old.

Vladimir Putin is known to be a very private person when it comes to his personal life, and he has not publicly acknowledged having a girlfriend since his divorce from his wife Lyudmila Aleksandrovna in 2014. However, Alina Kabaeva has been romantically connected to Putin for over a decade and is said to have had at least three children with him.

Putin’s rumored girlfriend, Kabaeva, is one of the most successful rhythmic gymnasts in Russian history. She started playing the sport when she was 4 years old and went on to win 21 medals at European Championships, 14 at World Championships, and 2 at the Olympics, including a gold in the Athens 2004 Games. The “Kabaeva,” her signature move, gave her the nickname “Russia’s most flexible woman.”

Yet, she faced some criticism during her career. She tested positive in 2001 during the Goodwill Games in Australia for the illegal medication furosemide, a diuretic that some athletes take to shed pounds or cover up the usage of other drugs. She said the chemical came from a contaminated tablet she purchased at a nearby pharmacy, and she denied doping. She was, however, temporarily disqualified from the competition and compelled to return her Madrid World Championship medals.

Around 2007, Kabaeva announced her retirement from competitive gymnastics and chose to enter politics. She was elected to the lower chamber of parliament and represented Putin’s United Russia party there. She was a strong supporter of a law in the legislature that prevented many Russian orphans from being adopted overseas.

She stepped down from her position in politics in 2014 to take the helm of Russia’s New Media Group, which the United States refers to as “a pro-Kremlin empire of television, radio, and print organizations.” Kremlin skeptics have charged the group of painting Western comments on the invasion of Ukraine as a misinformation effort for months. Despite having only a few years of industry experience beyond presenting a TV chat show, she was hired for the position.

Putin has never confirmed any such relationship, and Kabaeva has repeatedly denied any such connection. At a press conference in Italy in 2008 with Silvio Berlusconi, the nation’s then-elective prime minister, the renownedly private Russian president was questioned about his rumored girlfriend, Kabaeva. Putin stated,

I am, of course, aware of the cliché that politicians live in glass houses, but even in these cases, there must be some limits. I always disliked people who go around with their erotic fantasies, sticking their snot-ridden noses into another person’s life.

The Moskovsky Korrespondent, a Russian tabloid owned by a former Soviet intelligence official, had just reported that Putin intended to marry Kabaeva when the question was raised. The newspaper’s publication was abruptly halted “for financial reasons” and never resumed.
