Her mother is from Jamaica, while her father is from Haiti. However, her father is of partial Lebanese descent. And her maternal grandpa was originally from France, but after spending some time in the Caribbean, he finally settled in Jamaica.
Her birthplace is New Jersey, especially the Boonton-Parsippany region, where her parents lived until she was eight years old. They then relocated to Hamilton Square, where they remained for the next nine years. Her mother then acquired a job in Philadelphia, and they chose to relocate to Marlton.
