Kristoffer Polaha Got the Scar on His Face From a Life-Threatening Event!
If you look at Kristoffer Polaha‘s face closely, you can notice that he has a scar on the left side of his face. It isn’t a birthmark as the scar wasn’t there during his early years. Well, he got the scar from a death-defying moment.
He once revealed that he was attacked by an unknown person when he was walking up 9th Avenue with a friend named Catherine in New York City. As the two walked down the street, he stated he was standing to her right until someone told him to move to the other side. He explained,
Jesus … just kind of gripped me and called me up and said, ‘Dude, I want you back…I switched places with her. I just moved to the other side of her. And I said, ‘I don’t know why, but I feel better on this side of you,’ and a block later, we heard this ticking sound. And I look down, and the grates to the sidewalk blew open and we were engulfed in a fireball. The fireball went back into the thing, and hissed out and blew out the storefront window and we were showered with glass.
Kristoffer Polaha (@polahaha), who was dressed in a suit and corduroy pants, ended up protecting Catherine and defending her from the frisbee-sized chunks of glass that came at them, despite the fact that he was a bleeding mess from wounds to his face, hand, and arms that required 180 stitches. The scar on his left side of the face is still visible, a reminder of that terrible night. He further added,
I completely eclipsed the glass from hurting her, and she was in jeans, a t-shirt, and a windbreaker — like I was overdressed for the night and she was underdressed for the night

A Biltmore Christmas, starring Bethany Joy Lenz and Kristoffer Polaha, takes audiences to the golden age of filmmaking and was shot entirely on location at Asheville’s famous Biltmore Estate.
Lucy Hardgrove (Bethany Joy Lenz) is a screenwriter who is hired to write the story for a remake of the celebrated holiday film classic, His Merry Wife!, which was shot in 1947 at the lovely, historic Biltmore House. When the studio’s head is dissatisfied with Lucy’s finale since it deviates from the original’s happy ending, he sends her to the Biltmore Estate for study and inspiration, where she is greeted by Biltmore staffer Winston (Jonathan Frakes).
While there, she unintentionally learns the power to travel to the 1947 set of His Merry Wife! via an hourglass. She and one of the film’s stars, Jack Huston (Kristoffer Polaha), spend time together on-site and get close. However, her unexpected entrance has triggered a cascade of events that threatens the production. Lucy must make amends before she may return to the present, or she risks permanently changing the future.
A Biltmore Christmas is a Hallmark movie and is now streaming on the Hallmark Channel as well as a few other streaming platforms.
