Renegade 83’s qualifying requirements for the show state that you must be 21 years old, a U.S. citizen or a permanent U.S. resident, and not be a candidate for public office or become one until one year after your episodes air.

However, it comes with some challenges. According to the casting director, Kristi Russell, you’ll have to be skilled with 3 things: fire, water, and shelter. In an interview with Channel Guide Magazine, she previously explained,

If you can come to us and prove that you can start fire in more than one way, that you have a really deep and wide knowledge of shelter-building, and if you can name three or four ways to get water, and you can prove it… [If] you can actually show us that you have the skill set, you’ve got a huge leg up on everyone else.

Do remember that you’re not done just after filling out the form. The agents will reach out to you once they accept your application. After that, you’ll have a few interviews and you’ll be only selected if they find you determined, healthy, and have the capability to face the challenges.

There’s Another Way You Can Participate in the Show

Along with Renegade 83’s application form, you can also register for Naked and Afraid through an application form posted by Metal Flowers Media. 

However, it’s a little complicated here. Along with all the general information, you’ll have to give additional info about yourself if you submit your application from this website. The additional information includes your relationship status, links to your social media accounts, a short YouTube video of your physical capabilities, and your career.
