Well, the scar is the result of his collision with Nottingham Forest defender Willy Boly while challenging for the ball in his own box in mid-December. Physios raced in to help, and it was discovered that the 22-year-old had a serious cut on his head. He was then replaced on the pitch by Oliver Skipp.

Following his early departure, Johnson used social media to send a message to fans. On his Instagram story, he posted a photo of himself leaving the pitch and being embraced by former teammate Morgan Gibbs-White with the caption, “Thanks for all the messages.”

Nevertheless, it didn’t stop him from playing the following game against Everton. Wrapping the cut with tape and a headband, he played as if he had forgotten about the serious injury he suffered a week ago.

And that’s about it. The cut has left Brennan Johnson with a scar on his face. And since it has not been long, we can hope that the scar becomes less visible in the coming days.
