Here’s Why Adin Ross and His Friends Were Kicked Out From the 2o23 TwitchCon!
Twitch CEO Dan Clancy finally disclosed the reason Adin Ross and his friends were kicked out of TwitchCon 2023 in Las Vegas. For those who don’t know, on October 22, 2023, the Kick ambassador made headlines when he and his friends were asked to leave the streamer convention. Adin Ross claimed that he went to TwitchCon in order to “support” the platform saying,
Whoa! What did we do?! What did we do? What did we… I was just here for five seconds! I paid! What do I have to leave for?” I paid! What, I’m here just to… I’m here to support Twitch! What did I do?! Bro, Cuffem, we were here for three seconds, bro!
Internet users assumed that Adin had been expelled for wearing apparel endorsed by the Stake-backed platform. However, Dan Clancy addressed the claims and clarified things during a recent livestream. Adin Ross and his friends had purchased TwitchCon tickets by using fake identities. He explained,
They used false accounts to get the tickets. And, that’s part of the agreement when you get the tickets – that you’re not going to be falsely identifying yourself. And so, that’s why they took the action. I’m not going to go into a lot more detail…

He also elaborated that they weren’t kicked out for wearing a t-shirt that promoted their rival platform. He said,
I mean, it had nothing to do with their t-shirts. Actually, there were a lot of folks inside that had Kick t-shirts. For those who didn’t notice, I ran into someone on the street, and high-fived him.
