In episode 2 of Season 2 of Reacher, Jack and his friends head to speak with the head of security (manager) of the casino with whom Sanchez was working. It turns out Chief Wright was in charge of the casino’s security.
Chief Wright, who appears to be too friendly, speaks glowingly of Sanchez and Orozco, whom he and other casinos have relied on for investigative work. Nothing is more suspicious and he agrees to run the list of names the 110 has from Franz‘s flash drive. He comps them a high-roller suite, knowing that the special investigators are not to be trifled with. Reacher objects, but his former subordinates overrule him.

Outside the casino, Reacher and Dixon are followed by Saropian and the men he hired to assassinate the Special Investigations Unit team. This results in a big battle. Saropian and his team are defeated by the duo, who eventually kill Saropian.
Reacher raids Saropian’s car, where they discover a burner, and dials the number. Langston answers the phone and informs Reacher that he is dealing with the wrong man.
The next morning, the casino’s head of security stops by their suite to inform them that his queries to his peers at other casinos have yielded no results as to what Sanchez and Orozco were working on when they disappeared. He also reveals that their bodies were discovered with injuries similar to Franz’s – they, too, were tortured, thrown, and left to fertilize the dirt.
And that’s about it! Chief Wright’s storyline finished right there as he is not featured in further episodes of Reacher season 2.
