blurred-reality.com – People have been curious to know if Jonathan Majors is transgender as he previously flaunted pink outfits sitting shirtless on a pink sofa and with a pout while posing for Ebony Magazine’s February 2023 issue. Well, the 34-year-old actor is and has forever been a man.
Jonathan Majors has been a popular name in the world of cinema ever since he was selected to play the role of the MCU‘s Kang the Conqueror in 2020. However, all of his dreams have shattered as the MCU recently fired him after he was found guilty on charges of misdemeanor assault and harassment.
Majors was arrested in New York in March 2023 after a reported domestic altercation with his girlfriend at the time, Grace Jabbari. During the encounter, Majors even fractured Jabbari’s finger. Fans were taken aback by the initial claims, given Majors’ public demeanor throughout his famous rise through Hollywood, which portrayed a soft-spoken, sensitive masculinity.
Apart from the MCU and domestic violence drama, we have also discovered that many people have been wanting to know if Jonathan Majors is transgender. Well, let’s find out what the truth is.

Jonathan Majors Is Not Transgender!
Jonathan Majors is suspected of being transgender as he previously posed shirtless with a pink fur coat draped over his shoulders, paired with blue denim jeans for the cover star of Ebony Magazine’s February 2023 issue.
He is also seated on a pink-colored sofa, posing for the camera with a pout. His other pictures for the publication also reflected a gentle and colorful palette contrasting against his big muscles and presence. Talking to Ebony, he said,
What I’m trying to do with my work is show nothing is monolith. Not Blackness, not maleness, not comic-book villains.
However, the rumor about the 34-year-old star being trans is completely untrue and baseless. He is and has forever been a man. He just wanted to reflect that a Black-muscled guy also has soft and feminine sides.

Addressing the magazine-cover controversy, author Wil Gafney wrote,
They keep saying that “they” emasculated Jonathan Majors. That “they” made him look feminine. “They” who? Nobody made him do anything. He agreed to a photo shoot because he liked the idea and vision to. His masculinity is not as fragile as yawls understanding of gender.
How Is Marvel Going to Deal With Canceling Jonathan Majors as Kang?
Jonathan Majors‘ Hollywood career was already “in jeopardy” due to the claims against him, according to CNN. His acting career is unlikely to recover now that he has been convicted and facing possibly jail time.

This is problematic for Marvel Studios, which had positioned Majors as the face of its next chapter of narrative. Kang the Conqueror, played by Majors, has previously appeared as the principal enemy in Loki and Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania, and was set to appear in Avengers: The Kang Dynasty in 2026 and Avengers: Secret Wars in 2027.
Previously, Marvel has recast multiple roles such as Ant-Man character Cassie Lang and Iron Man character James “Rhodey” Rhodes. The unexpected death of Black Panther actor Chadwick Boseman in 2020 prompted the company to rethink its plans for the series’ future and have Boseman’s character die rather than recast him.
However, the studio has yet to announce if it intends to recast Kang or cancel his appearances entirely. Since they already had prepared the storyline for Phase Five with Kang playing the most important role, the MCU will undoubtedly have a hard time taking a decision about Kang. We have no option but to wait for their official announcement.
