Hope’s doing much better, much better. I think it’s going to be a longer road, but she is doing great…We’re making great progress. This kid is full of healing light, as I say to her.
Kotb admitted that the stress of her daughter’s illness had a negative impact after the worst was passed. While she has not revealed any specifics about her daughter’s sickness, we pray to god she gets healed sooner. Also, we will get back to you again as soon as we get any updates on Hope’s health.

Joel has received praise from Hoda for accompanying her on her adoption process. According to Hoda in an interview with People,
I looked him in the eye and I said, ‘I would like to explore adoption with you.’ And there was like a second there, I was like, ‘This is the end of a relationship or the beginning of a family.’ My heart was pounding and he just looked at me and he said, ‘I don’t need a week.’ [to think about it]. At that moment, I fell on his chest and was sobbing.
